Water and Color
Premiere . Photoshop | Canon PowerShot Pro S5 IS | Done in 2008
My wife and I made this music video with a Canon Powershot camera. Our idea was to create a dramatic space with the fluid movement of acrylic paint inside a bowl of water. First, with some tests, we obtained the appropriate concentration of acrylic paint. So that after every drop of it falls into the water, the color dissolves gradually. We did the lighting through an ordinary lamp. We tried to reduce the depth of the focus field and the light angle to create a three-dimensional feeling in some shots, and in some shots the image looks flat and silhouette. Finally, we created a different effect by rotating the video footage 180 degrees.
